Mission Statement

MOSA has provided oral surgical care since 1968. Currently we are the longest established group practice in Manhattan. Our mission has always been to provide the highest quality, most current oral and maxillofacial surgical care in a comfortable state of the art facility. In addition, we strive to maintain a patient oriented practice where the surgical needs of our patients and support of our referring doctors are paramount. The doctors of MOSA actively participate in continuing education programs for themselves and also provide continuing education programs for their professional colleagues.

All of the doctors of MOSA have hospital affiliations and hold academic teaching positions (resident training).

Background Information

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires many additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. MOSA’s oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Louis R. Wolf, Dr. Jonathan T. Perry and Dr. Richard G. Gray manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. The doctors practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery, wisdom tooth removal and corrective jaw surgery.  This also includes utilizing minimally invasive surgical procedures designed to rebuild bone and soft tissue within the maxillofacial region. We diagnose and treat facial pain and TMJ disorders, oral pathology, facial injuries and fractures.

The doctors of MOSA and their staff are trained in providing intravenous sedation or outpatient general anesthesia within their state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
